Start at 9.30am.Headquarters at the Coventry
Godiva Clubhouse. Changing / showers / refreshments available.
Distance of the stage will be 10km run on tarmac or block
paved roads.Mostly traffic free. Parking at the Coventry
Athletic Track. The results and awards will take place during
the Smith Butchers' Bar-B-Q.
The Smith Butchers' Bar-b-Q will be from 11.30am until
2.00pm. The Tour awards will take place during the Smith
Butchers' Bar-b-Q. A vegetarian alternative will be available,
please notify before the tour starts. The
BBQ, glass of wine. coffee, tea, soft drink will be available
free of charge. Further tickets will be available for a
small fee. (Like the sale of past race t-shirts, the fee
for the extra tickets will go to the charities.)
Soft drinks and snacks also available from The Hungry Harrier.

The
race will be 3 laps of the course very similar to the large
lap of the NEWYEARNEWFIVE race. Unfortunately, because of
building work, a small section will be on temporary, flagged
paths. Each lap is very nearly 3.33 kilometres. Start and
finish are close to the passage way exit which is directly
across the pedestrian crossing opposite the Coventry Track
where the race HQ can be found. The surface is either tarmac
or block paving. The path alongside the lake can be slippery.
The course will be marked with lengths of tape tied around
lamp posts.
